Descanse em Paz, Leonard Cohen. "Going Home" cantada por Marianne Faithfull

Nessa música do disco Old Ideas (2012), Cohen muda de lugar na canção, que é escrita do ponto de vista de uma outra pessoa falando sobre Cohen, nem sempre de forma muito favorável, um prato cheio para quem gosta de autocrítica. Marianne Faithfull (não confundir com a musa que o inspirou a a escrever "So Long, Marianne" e "Bird on a Wire") gravou dois anos depois no disco Give My Love To London.

Leonard Cohen morreu aos 82 anos na segunda-feira, dia 7, em Los Angeles. O anúncio público de sua morte só ocorreu três dias depois. Cohen foi enterrado em Montreal, no Canadá, onde nasceu. De volta ao lar. Assim, acho justo encerrar com "Going Home" esses posts em homenagem ao cantor, com algumas das músicas dele que foram aparecendo em minha vida e tudo aquilo que o Youtube e o Google pode nos fornecer.
