Descanse em Paz, Leonard Cohen. "Bird on the Wire" cantada por Johnny Cash (e por Cohen, e por Joe Cocker e Fairport Convention e...)

Já falei aqui de "Everybody Knows" e "First We Take Manhattan", mas outro grande momento que Leonard Cohen me chamou a atenção antes de aprofundar um pouco mais na sua obra foi com essa versão que Johnny Cash fez para "Bird on the Wire", gravada no disco American Recordings, início da última fase de Cash.

E no meio do caminho fui tropeçando em versões dos mais diversos artistas para "Bird on the Wire": Joe Cocker, Willie Nelson, KD Lang, Fairport Convention... Enfim, talvez isso seja um trabalho em construção, então veja aí mais de 10 versões dessa bela música de Leonard Cohen, uma das que teve como musa inspiradora Marianne Ihlen, mas isso pode ser história para outro post...
